Basic Site Rules

These rules are subject to change by admin's only. the rule itself will
not change, it may however be deleted and a new numbered rule may take
its place. Rules without punishments attached to them will be dealt with
as a warning. If you break the SAME rule twice you will be banned for 24 hours. If you break the same rule 3 times you will be banned for 48 hours. If you break a rule 5 times your character will be deleted permanently.


1.
Disrespect towards admins and moderators will not be tolerated. Doing
so will result in a temporary ban depending on the intensity of the
situation.*

2. My word is always final. An Admin's word is
acceptable. A moderator must have their decision confirmed by an Admin
(ie.excluding character center issues, there decision is then acceptable
unless challenged by an admin).An issue can be challenged only by a
person of equal or higher authority. Members have no final say in ANY matter. All admins or mods involved in a conflict [with the exception of the head admin] lose any say in the matter at hand. (Depending on the magnitude of the situation *)

3. Technically you cannot die unless you choose to. You can be completely incapacitated though.

4. No Auto-hits. An auto hit is defined as a hit made inside the same post as the act of striking.

5. Posting Order only pertains to fights. If no post is made within 48 hours, anyone may post (this includes double posting)

6. In RP battles, you are granted an automatic win if the opponent does not respond in 96 hours at the start of the battle or 48 hours during the battle. Unless the person has made a post of absence, and there is no one else to step in for him/her.

7. Do not "bump" a topic more than twice.

8.You must reply to (or acknowledge) a person's appearance in a topic within two or your own posts.

9. You MUST post in Third person in the RP sections.

10. Your character cannot be in two places at once, therefor, do not post in two "Current" topics without exiting one first. (Warning first, if your character does not post an exit in one of the topics then *)

11.Your Username MUST be the name of your character, either first, middle,last, alias or any combination of the four.

12. Keep to your character's personality.

13. The site character max is 1 characters a person. Breaking this rule will result in deletion of all your current characters. [both under one account]

14. ABSOLUTELY
no fighting in the Chatbox. If caught doing so will result in one
warning, after that you will be banned for 48 hours from the Chatbox.

15.
No porn pictures. The
punishment is not ours but forummotion.com's, the site provider. ****

16.
No posting pictures in the Chatbox. If caught doing so will result in
one warning, after that you will be banned for 48 hours from the
Chatbox.

17. Members are not allowed to post within someone
else's applications, regardless of your reasoning. **

18. Anyone ranked below a moderator is not to
use to color "red" in a topic title. "red" topics are topics of great
importance and is our way of distinguishing them.

19. Do not create topics you have no intention of replying to.

20. Create topics in their appropriate area.

21. The minimal posting length is 5 sentences.

22. Cyberbullying in any fashion is not permitted. If you feel like someone is bullying you on this site, PM one of the admins. ***

23. You may not use any form of advanced bending until you are level 20 or above.

24. All spirit powers can only be used in the Spirit World

25. All bending powers must stay in the Physical World

26. Energy bending is the only exclusion from rules 24 & 25

27. If an account is found to be active in the chatbox, but not active on the site for over 14 days, that account will be banned from the chatbox until the said person is active on the forums again.

28. Advertisment is for the Advertisment section only. If found in the chatbox, you will be banned from the chatbox, if in the main forum, or signature, you will be warned, then banned for 24hrs.

Amendment 1
Applying to rule 5

If in the case that no other person has ever posted on a topic other than the topic creator, and there has already been a double post after the appropriate 48 hours, then the time limit before the second double post is reduced to 24 hours. The reduction is only valid so long as nobody else posts on the topic. As soon as any other person posts, the double post time limit is restored to 48 hours.
