First topic message reminder :

Harbor in the Earth kingdom

((OOC: Not really too sure what's going in this story board but what better way to find out then by posting here and seeing what's going on. I noticed the Avatar going to the earth nation so I shall start there and meet her if she does not mind))

Warm air crept it's way into the large mans lungs. Sweat ran down the back of his neck. His massive sword dragged across the floor ever so slightly as he changed his stance. His body felt hot from being in such close proximity with the incoming balls of hot flames.

"Listen here Earth Bender!!" A fire nation soldier barked

"If you give up now we'll just imprison you. But if continue to resist then we will be forced too kill you" The fire nation soldier continued.

Five fire nation soldier stood in a line, there closed fists pointed towards the Earth bender. There polished armor was slightly damaged, cracks and chinks in the plates were clear to the eye.

The they focused there gaze at a man that stood at 7 feet in height. His body was complete tower of heavy, dense muscle. Each muscle in his body stuck out in powerful form combined with definition that made almost each muscle fiber visible. With almost no excess body fat and standing at seven feet in height this mans pumpkin sized shoulders were at least 3 feet apart.
This man had long, unkempt black hair followed by a red head band that kept his hair away from his face.
This man wore no shoes but he wore a coat and pants. His left arm was surrounded in silver armor while his right arm was holding a massive sword that was as big as this man was.

"My name is Naraca, not Earth Bender" He told the fire nations soldier in a calm yet harsh voice.

Naraca looked upon the fire nation soldiers, he admired there confidence considering that Naraca had already beaten so many of the soldiers that these five men were with.
15 other soldiers lay on the floor either unconscious or curled up in a ball in pain. To Naraca right was the ocean, he was currently standing by the harbor. Several civilians watched the battle take place.

The fire nation soldier's eyes narrowed and he took a wider stance. He took Naraca's reply as a way of saying that he was not going to submit to them.
"Men, it looks like the Earth bender is not going to comply" The fire nation soldier said with a smile.
The other soldiers took wider stances and focused on Naraca.

Naraca stayed where he was and he waited for the soldiers to attack, as he knew they would.

There was a pause, the soldiers stared at Naraca with nothing but intensity in there eyes. Whereas Naraca was much calmer, his stance was normal, as if he was talking with someone.
The fire nations soldiers charged towards Naraca, the thrusted there fists forward, spew fire balls from the knuckles.
Naraca took a step forward and his lifted his right hand up, the ground suddenly sprouted up a wall which took the brunt of the fire balls.
The fire nation soldiers spread out and ran towards Naraca, moving around the wall.

Naraca dashed towards one of the soldiers. The soldier responded by shooting a fireball towards Naraca.
Naraca jumped to the side, avoiding it. Then he took three steps towards the soldier and he slammed his fist in the soldiers gut.
The soldier eyes widened and his body lifted up high from the ground, so high that he lauched up into the air, then landed in the water.
A second soldier ran to Naraca side, about to attack.
Naraca quickly shot his right leg toward the soldiers face, his foot rammed into the soldiers face, the helmet he wore littertly exploded from the impact. The soldiers face was now broken in several places as he was sent flying backwards, he hit the floor in a ravine. Rolling all over the place the soldier stopped rolling shortly, he was knocked out cold.

The last three soldiers all formed a line and they rapidly fired sevreal fireballs at Naraca.
Naraca quickly thrusted his hand forward, the soldiers on the right and left of the middle soldier both came in contact with a piller made of earth which hit there stomachs and sent them flying.

The last soldier did not back down, he placed both his hands together and he fired a massive ball of flames. this ball was at least ten feet tall and wide.

Naraca smiled and he slammed his sword into the ground and he pointed his closed fists at the fireball.
From the ground behind him a much bigger Earth made pilled shot out from in front of him and his collided with the fire ball in a massive explosion.
The earth piller was destroyed and the fireball faded into smoke.

As the smoke cleared Naraca charged towards the soldier and jumped in the air only hit the soldiers face with a hard knee.
The soldier slammed on the ground out cold.
Naraca looked down at the soldier for a moment then he looked up at the horizen the lead towards the city.

In the distance, Naraca heard the charging footsteps of more fire nation soldiers.

When the man she was talking to finally said his name a bit of a smile appeared on Terra's face. Everything was going smoothly as of now he did not seem to cause trouble and had a sense of calmness about him. She liked that about him and looked at him again after looking over at the three women once more. "It is an honor to meet someone of your stature.." But once she remembered him saying that the Avatar would be displeased seeing him a interested look was on her face."I take it you two had a..rough meeting together."

After about two more matches it was Terra's go again but she laughed a bit as five men this time stood on the arena. 'So this is the twist they were talking about..

The men said no comments learning from the previous match and prepared to take their stand. Terra on the other hand closed her eyes and had spread her feet wide. This go around she needed a bit more concentration, but before she had closed her eyes Terra smirked since they all decided to surround her but that was a mistake since now she was able to feel out which one was which. "Alright, I'm ready, are you guys? Since I won't ask for names I'll just call you guys..1 through 5'"

"Let the match begin!"

Number 1 stomped his foot and had a large size boulder rise from the corner of the arena and shot it at Terra. The young girl grabbed the metal covers on her hands and pulled them to her fingers and bent them to the point they were like gloves. She then drew her hands upward using a tiny slab of earth to propel herself ontop of the rock. Grabbing onto it the girl decided to rock hang for a few seconds before splitting it in two, sliding in the middle of the rock pieces and punched one while kicking the other as fast as she could. Terra did it with such speed that Number 3 did not see it coming and was knocked out the arena and out cold. Number 4 blocked it but as soon as Terra touched the ground she used the same earth sheild he used to block it to hit him in the stomach with a outter pillar she created and set him up in the crowd.

Number 2 took the chance while she was taking care of number 4 to run up while her back was turned and stomp his foot. But before his foot even made contact Terra made a backwards kicking motion and his foot was ingulfed in a small rock slab. She then reached behind her back and then slammed her hands foward on the ground causing the slab to lengthen and slam him face first on to the floor. "Three down..two to go.." Terra reminded herself while looking for the other two men. However once she found them she saw that two boulders were flying her way. Stomping her feet Terra's hands made a sweeping motion making an earth sheild once the rocks made contact Terra squeezed her hands and compressed them into the shield.

About five minutes went by before anyone made their next move, number 1 and 5 decided to run up to her together and break the sheild believing that she couldn't attack two people at once.Terra grinned inside the sheild as she punched the right side, where number 5 was coming from, small little compressed bullets hit him all over and he suddenly stopped and fell to his knees.

Terra ejected herself from the compressed sheild and looked at number 1 before kicking the ball of earth towards him. Once he split it in two however a rock fist followed the shield and hit him right in the face causing him to twist his entire body then fall to the ground.

"That wasn't so bad.." Terra giggled a little as she went to join her two guests again.

Mattias remained sitting quietly his hands folded in his lap. He knew the King was ignoring him, and that was fine by him. He watched the action, not really caring about the outcome. Fights like these never made much sense to him.

He glanced to the side and watched the small group around the avatar. One of the people stood out. It was a man that was easily twice the size of the avatar. Interesting company that she kept.

He continued to scan the crowd determining the quickest way to reach the avatar while not being noticed.

Terra was flawless in her battle, she was living up to the title of an Earth Bending master, no doubt about that. Naraca's earth bending skills were not the best, maybe she could throw a lesson his way every once in a while? No, no this wasn't about him, this was about the Avatar. Terra would need to focus all her attention to Kiara and only her.

Naraca's head turned to Kiara as she moved closer to him. She pointed to the man with the two swords and talked about teaching her the way of the sword. He looked towards her for a moment then back to Terra and the match.
He wouldn't be opposed to that, but he specialized in a customized stance that was meant only for people of his level of strength. He called it "Titan Blitzer" it was a stance that made for using a massive, over sized sword that could destroy small buildings or houses, and even crush people as they were being cut. A single hit from this blade would slice anyone in half and crush everything in the radius of the slash.

There was almost no one else out there with Naraca's level of strength and power, to the Dai Lee, he was called the strongest man in the world. However, unless Kiara was the strongest woman in the world, he would not be able to teach her much. There were the basic's that came with holding any type of blade, he could teach her that. However, Naraca would never recommend going up against an opponent knowing only the basics of sword play.

Naraca shook his head.

"Sorry, but my stance is impossible to teach"
He said to her regretfully

"We can find you a sword master who could teach you a stance that will be suited for you" Naraca said with a neutral facial expression.

While it may have been fate, maybe it was fate just to help her get started on her journey. Terra seemed like a fine replacement, a lower level earth bender for a master. It was more then a fair trade.
He watched Terra, her earth bending skills appeared to excel way past his. However, he began to wonder if maybe there was a surefire way to make sure of that.

The matches were close to being over, and usually after the fights are done in the tournaments, a reward is offered to anyone willing to fight the champion from the crowd...Maybe...Just maybe...

"I know what you are thinking, regardless of Terra teaching me I would be forever grateful if you continued with me on my journey.."

Kiara smiled up at him as Terra entered the arena, this girl displayed perfect earthebending as if it was as easy as breathing. She watched man after man go after Terra and she knocked them all off their feet. Kiara couldn't help but have a grin as wide as could be when the finals were up.

"Guess tough things really do come in small packages."

She then looked over at Cerelia and noticed how no one was even conversating with the girl, the avatar frowned feeling more then bad about not even asking the girl how was she doing or her story. As Terra stepped off the arena Kiara placed a hand at Cerelia, "How are you holding up? I never even asked your name, I apologize for that as well."

Before Cerelia began talking Kiara's gaze went from the stands onto the chairs that had two men sitting in them besides Terra. One was obviously someone of great importance to the earth nation and had a pout on his face while the other seemed to hide in a cloak. Her eyes narrowed at the mans figure trying to see past the cloak hood.

PostSubject: Re: The Avatar and the Earth Kingdom   The Avatar and the Earth Kingdom - Page 5 Icon_minitimeSun Aug 14, 2011 5:32 am

Nhala closed her eyes for a few seconds before reopening them. She was leaned forwards, with both arms  propping her head up. A silent sigh escaped her as she shifted her gaze to the audiance.

So many people were jeering, or booing. Many had risen from their seats. Some had appareantly placed bets on the winner or losers of this tournament. She could feel the gaze of someone in the stands.

Appareantly, she had caught the eye of one of the spectators. She still had it, it seemed. She risked a glance out of the corner of her eye. There were too many people to sift through. Was it one of the criminals from the previous night? No, she decided. It felt more like a gaze of admiration, or, at least, high regard for her looks. Still, it unnerved her tht someone was watching her, and probably wanted to confront her alone, seperate from Kiara and Naraca.

Nhala shook the thoughts from her mind as she refocused on the fight. She couldn't wait for the tournament to be over. She only wondered how people found this to be a source of such entertainment.

The boys back home had similar duels. They were those who wanted to be in the military, and have a chance of fighting. They would spar with various weapons, ever mindful not to actually mar their opponent. If they waterbended, then they would have contests of strength and skill, sometimes settling conflict through these trivial fights. But they were far more elegant and graceful. They required skill and cunning.

This underground tournament was nothing more than people throwing eachother out of an arena, and smashing boulders into things. It was senseless destruction. It lacked any of the grace that fights at home had, and certainly the participants lacked respect for one another. Those in charge were even willing to toss the rules to turn the table against their reigning champion. This did not seem to be any contest, but some defiled, ego-stroking sport for profits. Nhala only hoped it would end soon. She didn't like the feeling of the crowd

Terra stepped back onto the fighting ring. Her battles were always the most interesting, but there weren't that many contestants.

Cerelia overheard Kiara ask Naraca about swordfighting, and about someone to train her in the basics. Naraca didn't seemed thrilled at the idea, but dind't discourage her. He mentioned that he knew someone who could teach a custom stance.

'Custom stance? Please. It's sword fighting. Certain stances work best.' Cerelia frowned at the comment and glared at the back of his head. Maybe if she stared hard enough, she could bored a hole thorugh his brain.

As Kiara told him that she wanted him to stay, despite terra joining, Cerelia gave up and turned her eyes to Nhala. She seemed dreafully bored.

'Arena battles aren't for everyone, I guess.' Cerelia thought to herself. 'Though I wonder what she's thinking.'

Cerelia turned back to the fight and noticed Kiara looking at her. 'What's she doing?' Cerelia glanced at Kiara before blocking her from sight with her arm as she leaned back again with her head on her arms. Terra had knocked out three of the men by now, with only two left.

The rest of the fight didn't last long, though the ending was interesting. Terra stood victorious and returned to her spot on the sidelines. The next time she came on woud be the finals.

Terra looked at the men before going back onto the arena, before her final match even began she was informed that the other man had given up due to fear of fighting her.

She frowned a bit as she was informed of the news. But none the less she had won and was going to do something she usually did with the reward money. There were three bags full of money and Terra handed them each to a man and then given him a map of where he needed to go.

"These are the parts of town that need it the most...spread it out evenly there should be enough for those parts of the city to become middle class." Terra glared at him angrily, "If I find out someone took the money they will be very sorry."

Before getting back onto the ring again Terra let everyone get silent before talking and pointing to Naraca and his group, "You four come down here..all of you." She stared at directly at Naraca before grinning once more.

Tan-ko watched he exchange wih the money, smiling to himself as this young woman once again surprised him. Until she called the four people in the audience down. His eyes bulhed out of his skull for a moment as he half rose from his seat, very tempted to go ask her what she was doing before settling back down, watching and waiting.

((OOC: Due to Mattius absence I will go ahead and post by permission from Tan-ko))

Crashing, booming and cheering flooded the arena as Terra smashed
everyone that went up against her. Her moves were perfect, almost
familiar in a way. He was a former Dai Lee agent, and she looked like someone he worked under back then.

Kiara told Naraca how despite his possible uselessness she still wanted him to stay. He turned his head to her and looked down at her for a moment. She really did want him to stay, even though he wasn't needed, not really anyway. The only way that he was really useful that he could think of was his superior Strength and size, his money was also even useful, as well as the moral support. These were all lack luster compared to a master Earth Bender.

As Naraca began to think, he realized that there was only one way to make sure that he was still useful, and still a valuable member of the group.

Terra pointed straight at Naraca suddenly and told him and the rest of the group to come down to the arena. Immediately, Naraca recognized Terra as she issued the order. He knew her voice when she would command, she is the Earth nation's Queen. How did he knew this? Because he worked for her as a Dai Lee agent. She would order him around to do missions and such. Terra was even the one who gave Naraca the position of Dai Lee, and the one who took his rank away.

His Earth bending was considered too weak for a Dai Lee agent, and Naraca would instead focus on brute strength which while it was effective, it made the Dai Lee look like a bunch of savage brutes. So he was kicked out not for performance, but because the Dai Lee had an image to maintain. The Dai Lee hated that so that was why Naraca has a ton of money still, or why he has all of the rich privileges and luxury's of a Dai Lee agent. It is because Terra gave the order.

Naraca stood up tall then turned around to face his group.

"I want you all to stay here" He told them

"I need to do this on my own. I hope you understand but you can't involved in this" He said to everyone.

Naraca turned his head to Kiara and looked straight into her eyes. His face was serious, but he also looked determined. He knew what Terra wanted, and he needed to do this on his own. The Avatar...It was indeed about her...About Kiara. However, Naraca was going to have to take the spotlight for a minute. He needed to prove he was still useful to the group. He needed to know that he wouldn't just be dead weight.

He could only hope that Kiara understood just by looked at his face. She was very good at detecting how others were feeling just by looking at them right?

"Take care of them alright?" He asked Kiara, referring to protecting Nhala and Cerelia.
"I'll be back soon" He told Kiara.

He then looked to Nhala and Cerelia with a smile.

"You two behave yourselves now" He said with a smile. Pointing too Nhala and Cerelia.

He readjusted the sword on his back then took a mighty leap from the benches. He soared in the air then slammed onto the arena floor. His feet dug into the ground slightly as a loud crash echoed through out the arena. The crowd fell silent from the shocking twist.

Naraca's knees were bent slightly from the fall, he stood up tall then walked out of the cracked part of the arena that he made. He walked over to Terra then stopped, keeping a lot of distance between them.
He looked Terra straight in the eyes with his intense brown eyes.

"Been a long time ma'am" He said to Terra with his face as serious as could be.
He knew that this was going to be a fight, a fight against a master of Earth bending. Would his raw power and fighting skill be enough? Or would her Earth bending overwhelm him? This was the only way to find out.

His former master was strong, she was most likely going to win this fight. Even so, he had to prove himself, he had to be sure that he was still worthy to be a part of the Avatar's group. He needed to do this, he had to do this or else he would never be able to answer the burning question inside of him.

Does the Avatar need me?

Here in this arena, his answer would come to him.

(due to the fact I have wireless I will take a short post just keep in the action.)

Mattias watched as the man that he had obseved earlier jump into the ring with Terra. He frowned, not bothering to think about masking his face. It didn't make sense, why would somebody with the avatar jump challange the most likely candidate for her learning earthbending. What on earth did he hope to accomplish in either defeat or in victory?

Mattias clenched his fist once, concentrating very hard not to let a flame flicker to life. Perhaps this was the pivetal moment that he had sensed when he first entered the arena. Either way it was a complication.

There was something else. One of the companions of the avatar tugged at his mind. Almost as if he knew them. He couldn't figure out how.

Kiara's mouth simply dropped open from what was happening at the moment. Terra wasn't as savage and greedy as she had heard in the fire nation. This woman seemed to have an upstanding nature about her and really cared for her people that lived in the earth city she called home.

When Kiara stared at Naraca then back at Terra she simply nodded at his request knowing that they knew eachother in some form of fashion. How come Naraca didn't tell her right off the bat? The avatar has no clue but as of now she was not going to cause a big uproar about it.

"You do what you need to Naraca.."

But once the girl looked back down at Terra her eyes seemed to shift back over to the two men sitting in the chairs. "Girls..I have to figure out who this man is.."

Her head turned to the two women sitting beside her and she sent a mischievious smile. Kiara believed that they had nothing to lose just by going down there and checking out who those men were.

"Maybe if we talk to them then we can see if Terra is a good match for the group..hey you never know what might happen."

But then remembering Naraca's words the woman stayed put. A frown was on the face while crossing her legs and arm but her eyes seemed to stare over to the man in the cloak. A part of her knew that he was going to look straight at her at any moment now.

Nhala raised her head from her hands to look at up to Kiara, and back down to the arena pit. "What's going on? Why do they want us down there?" Nhala watched Kiara turn to them with a mischevious smile. "No, I don't really want to go down there. I don't want to be in the spotlight."

"Why hello there, darlings." Nhala turned to see the man that spoke.

"You shouldn't be here. Our friend is down there, and we are going to support him." Nhala cossed her arms.

"Oh, no, no. I just want to keep you pretty ladies company until he returns. You know, the people in this crowd can be rather... forward." He sat down next to Nhala. He was a thin man with tanned skin. His clothes were the standard tan and green, but seemed to be made of far thicker material than the silk fabrics the higher ups wore, and completely different from what the rest of the city wore.

He draped an arm across Nhala shoulder, causing her to stiffen as he leaned in. "So what is your name, my dove?"

Nhala shrugged off the arm and scooted away from him slightly. "I'm not from Ba Sing Se."

"What? With those fine fabrics? Might I add that you look beautiful in that dress?" Nhala glanced towards Kiara, hoping for some repreive. The man wrapped his arm around her waist instead and pulled her towards him. "I'd love to see you with-"

"Unhand me." She demanded. He paused, confused. "Release me now. I am here to support my friend. I don't need distractions."

The man was surprise with her forwardness and simply shrugged. "We all need distractions once in a while. Besides, you look like you can use the company of a real man, not that musclebound boulder down there. Just relax and enjoy my company, dear. I'll protect you."

Cerelia glared at the man who'd swooped in. Just as Naraca and Terra were getting into position, the fool had the audacity to come closer and distract them.

The man grabbed Nhala and pulled her closer, an obvious attempt at recovering from his failure in flirting with her. Before Kiara could do anything, Cerelia was upon him, twisting his hand and forcing him to the floor.

"If you know what's best for you, you'll leave. If not, you can forget about ever using this hand again." She said, glaring down at him. He was truly afraid and pulled away as best he could. Cerelia let go and sat down at her spot.

She didn't need to look around to know she was being watched with fear and surprise. She merely turned her attention to Naraca and Terra. She was sure Kiara would complain about her roughness with the guy, and most definetly care for Nhala. But she didn't care. As long as they kept their distance, she didn't care what they did.

Terra looked at the group while Naraca seemed to be the only one standing, that did not really surprise her that much. It was just that Terra wanted to meet the avatar up close and Naraca seemed to be having some conflicting issues about his role in the Avatar's life.

Her arms crossed from growing impatient with the conversation he was having with the three girls. Despite having the Avatar in the arena Terra had things she wanted to get done and this was clearly holding her up.

With a sigh the girl simply waited but then smirked as Naraca jumped from the seat he was sitting onto the arena. Terra still had her arms crossed and simply looked up at him with a grin..that was until he had called her ma'am.

"I told you back then do not address me as ma'am, I would like to be called by my name thank you." She then nodded a simple nod at Naraca, "I understand why you are doing this but I am glad to see that you are okay and still healthy. Just promise me that there will be no hard feelings between us. You still are a good man and have a good soul about you."

She then turned her back to him and looked at everyone who was around the arena on the ground floor. "I would really appreciate it if you all would go into the stands for this battle, I have been holding back considerably during this tournament because you all have been in the way and I did not want you to get hurt at all."

Terra then looked at her two guests with a smile, "Could you join those three girls up there please that he had left? I will be fine, this might take a while.."

With her request done with all the men had evacuated into the stands nexts to friends or family. With that taken care of Terra was more then anxious as her smile grew bigger and bigger. She had to be honest with herself she had always wanted to fight Naraca and was more then excited to be able to go on a adventure with the avatar.

"Since you are a very good friend that I have missed considerably I would like for you to make the first move."

Tan-ko smiled when terra adressed the audience hearing her say she had been holding back. He knew she had been, he had seen her handle her own father. So when she asked him and mattias to go sit next to the ladies he simply smirked, still wearing the green wraps around his head so terra couldnt see. "Dont break him." he said simply before sinking into the dirt floor and coming back up out of the stone steps near kiara, cerelia, and nhala. "So which one of you is the avatar?"

Mattias nodded once at Terra before following Tan-ko, keeping a notable distance but close enough to be within conversation range. He remained calm, as he approached the avatar.

((OOC: Just a suggestion but since me and Terra are now going to fight it would be better for the posting order to be changed into this:

Naraca
Terra
Kiara
Nhala
Cerelia
Tan-ko
Mattias

This is just so the fight can have a faster pace and everyone else can respond to the actions of both of us instead of just saying that there surprised by the first attack and wondering what will happen next. At least this way the fight can go on faster. ))

Call me by my name? No hard feelings? Your a good man? It was all reminiscent of Terra indeed. He was so used to calling her ma'am that once he heard her name from Kiara the first time he almost did not recognize the name. It was only when he saw her here that he remembered that "ma'am" was actually the very same ma'am that would be joining the Avatar. The queen, Terra.

When she mentioned "No hard feelings" he actually wasn't too sure if that would be the case. What if he lost? In his mind he would be useless, good for nothing. Naraca would not exactly be happy about that. The relationship between them would not change but the same could not be said for his opinion on his usefulness.
Although Kiara wanted him too stay, he may not be able to live with himself if he knew that there was no reason for him to be there. Simply just being there would just get on his nerves, he needed a strong reason too stay. Kiara wanted him too stay...However that was not good enough, this was the Avatar's journey, and there was no room for the weak, or the unneeded. He was wanted, but not needed. That was why he had to do this.

A good man? Naraca felt conflicted about that, a good man is someone who does good things, he did not feel deserving of the name "Good". In his mind, he was not worthy of it.

Naraca nodded his head as he heard that Terra wanted him to make the first move.
He brought his right hand up to grab his massive 50 pound sword, but then he stopped himself. He trusted Terra could handle and he wasn't afraid of using it, but...There was something else.

He closed his eye's and his lips pressed together as his hand moved away from the hilt of the blade and instead his arm hung down.
He had to prove he was worthy, but not just in his titan like Strength, but his Earth Bending. Even if it was against a master.

It was at this point that it was hard to make eye contact with Terra, not because he was afraid of her, but because in reality, he knew how this would end.

Shaking his head he looked straight towards Terra. His eyes looked towards her intensely, his body was strong and firm in it's stance. His was prepared, he was ready, to fight in the form he was terrible at, his earth bending.

He took his stance, then lifted his foot up and slammed it to the ground with terrifying force. His Strength would not be used against Terra, but it would be used to help with the Earth bending.
The Arena trembled from the might of the stomp, dust flew about but the debris held in place.

This was the benefit of Naraca's Strength, he did not need to be a master when he came to the amount of rocks he could bend, he just needed to use more power.
Once several rocks and debris were in the air, and using the cover of the dust, he began slamming his fists and feet into each rock and sent it ripping through the air at high speeds. This was another benefit, his might could force the rocks to charge faster.

His form was not that of an Earth Bending master, but more of a brawler. While his stance was similar, it was ultimately customized and far different from that of any regular Earth Bender.
This was why he was taken out of the Dai Lee, for making them look like savages, for making them look like this.

Terra stared carefully at Naraca as he seemed to be in deep thought, this was a bit of a unneeded battle for her but if he was trying to prove something to himself she would not get in the way of it at all.

When he stomped the ground Terra slid her heels outward as the earth grabbed her feet keeping them in place. When the earth had stomped rumbling Terra broke herself out the earth cups on her feet and stood in a familiar stance..the praying mantis.

The dust had came up in the air she simply closed her eyes, this wasn't much of a bad thing at all. Every tiny motion he made with his foot she knew exactly where the boulders were headed. But not at what speed, twisting the wrist the circle mound she was on turned to the left and she barely dodged the first boulder.

Changing plans Terra pushed her hands down as she sunk into the arena, making her hands push up into the air as a huge wall block the boulders the were headed her way. To her surprise many of the boulders created a crack in the thick wall. Naraca had some potential after all.

As soon as the last boulder hit the wall Terra balled her fists and started punching the wall sending the boulders and chunks of the wall right back at him. The last part of the wall left was the middle, the girl pushed what was left of the wall back down just to cover her while she made sharp edges and a center point of the chunk. Bringing her hand up the sharpened boulder pushed into the air and the smooth bottom was kicked by Terra racing toward Naraca.

Looking to the ground there were small rocks and a grin was plastered onto her face. She created two earth gaunlets and raised a column of earth shooting her into the air. Being pulled down by Gravity she also used her weight to pick up speed. Terra raised her hands then brought them down with such force she created a wave of earth to rise about two feet and head towards Naraca.

'Come on..I know you can get out this one..

Before the battle had started Kiara looked at the man that seemed to be harrassing Nhala. She seemed to space out just a bit having a flash back of her mother having to deal with the same problem from fire nation soldiers. Kiara always had to protect her mother because she was considered the tribe's jewel.

Her day dream was broken by the sound of Cerelia's threatening tone. A smile was on her face before she had started talking to Cerelia about her heroic antics. Her and Cerelia didn't know much about eachother but she believed that deep down the woman was a good person.

"Couldn't have done it better myself.."

A eyebrow raised when Kiara heard Terra command everyone to go into the stands and better yet say she knew Naraca and was holding back. Why hadn't Naraca told her this when she mentioned Terra's name back at the train station? Maybe he had forgotten, but once she noticed a man wrapped up in green cloth Kiara giggled. He seemed weird in a way but the sword clearly gave him away.

When he spoke Kiara zipped right passed him to the man that was headed her way as well. Before he could register what was going on she looked into the hood and pulled it back quickly.

Part of her tensed up as she stared intently at him before glaring angrily at him.

"Its you..."

Kiara took a deep breath before hugging him suddenly with a smile and letting him go. She gestured him to follow her back to her seat and sat leaving him a open seat beside her. What she did next perplexed her but then Kiara came to a realization of why she was doing it.

"I forgive you with what happened back in the fire nation, you had your own problems. Are you okay now? How are your ribs doing?"

Kiara asked with a light smile hearing the crashing and booming of the fight but was more focused on seeing if the man she met earlier was okay.

[I'm going to re-order the posts to make mine and Kiara's conversation next to each other. The revised revised order is:
Naraca
Terra
Kiara
Mattias
Nhala
Cerelia
Tan-ko]

The hand that reached out flipped down Mattias' hood caught him by surprise. Reacting on instinct he grabbed the wrist of the person and reached for his sword hilt. He stopped himself once he saw who had done it. He glared at her quickly then glanced around before flipping his hood back over his head.

"Its you..."

The avatar's voice was impossible to read, so many different emotions behind the words. The hug that she gave him threw him off guard and his grasp on her wrist fell away.

He followed her to her seat where she spoke again.

"I forgive you with what happened back in the fire nation, you had your own problems. Are you okay now? How are your ribs doing?"

For the most part Mattias ignored her concern. There were more pressing issues to handle. The nature of his mission had changed drastically in the past frew minutes. His orders were to make contact with the Earth King, deliever the message and to specifically avoid making contact with the Avatar. It was no secret that there were many eyes looking for him. Now that his presence was revealed, he had to act fast to avoid a fallout situation. At this thought Mattias frowned, but kept his voice normal. "Much has happened since you last saw me."

He glanced at the Avatar's companions trying to figure out how much he could tell.

"You are being tracked."

Nhala leaned over to Cerelia as the man scampered away. "Thanks a lot for that. I was trying not to make a scene. So stop barging in on problems I'm solving!" She hissed. "I'm not as incompetant as you think."
She regained her composure, and glanced at the robed figure. Kiara seemed angry with him, but happy to see him. Nhala was starting to get the feeling the group was going to get very crowded and loud from here on out.

Cerelia watched the robed figure as Kiara flipped down the hood. There was no doubt about it. It was him, the guy that had followed her to the pier. But she quickly averted her eyes to the fight as Kiara pulled him to a seat next to her. He was on the other side of Kiara, and one row ahead.

'Please don't recognize me.' Cerelia thought, keeping a straight face.

Nhala leaned in and complained to her. Cerelia looked at her and was about to reply when Mattias looked at them. But as quickly as he had interrupted, he turned back to focus on Kiara.

Cerelia frowned and crossed her arms. 'What are they? Lovers or something?'

Tan-ko blinked, the young king not used to being ignored like this. To be completely honest he wasnt sure how to proceed, leaning back and scratching his head through the wraps. He looked over at mattias and kiaras moment even more confused before sitting down. "Ok....I missed something didnt I."

Naraca was not afraid, nor was his excited, he only had a heightened sense of things.
The roar of the crowd, The beating of his heart, the sight of his opponent, the cool sweat on his neck, the small tug of the strap that held his blade, the sight of the incoming boulders.

While he had a savage like style of fighting, it was quite coordinated. His body was not tense, but loose.
He saw each rock come his way and he swayed his head and his body from one side to the other. There were a couple rocks that came his way that he was unable to dodge, he slammed his fists and shins into those, smashing them in pieces.

He felt the need to check on Kiara and the group for a moment.
He turned his head to where they were and his eyes widened.

He saw someone...Hugging Kiara?

His eyes stayed trained on Kiara and the hooded man. He inhaled sharply as he was caught by surprise. He expected to see them sitting there a watching him, not this.

Suddenly he felt one of the rocks slam right into his head. His head snapped back and he took two steps backwards while growling and placing his on his head. That's right, he had a fight too finish. He could not think about what was happening there at the moment, he could only hope that Kiara was not endangering herself. However...There was another reason why wanted to make sure she was okay.

He shook of the disorientation from the hit and saw a much sharper looking rock rip through the air and straight towards him. He felt a spike of anger for some reason and instead of dodging the rock he performed a kick and slammed his foot into the side of the boulder, shattering it into pieces.

He saw Terra jump up into the air. He smiled as he saw her leave herself open. He bent his knees down and was about to jump up straight for her when he suddenly stopped himself.
While in theory, he could just have to throw one strike then he could knock her out, or he could simply grab her then toss her out of the arena. However, that would be him doing what he always did, fighting like a savage instead of an earth bender.

His face appeared to be more sad now for just a quick moment. Was that what he was? A savage, nothing but a mindless brute?

Letting Terra finished her move he watched her as she slammed back down to the ground, bending the earth to make a shock wave.
Instead of engaging her directly instead he bended the earth to come up to his hands. The rock spread up his arms and formed rock sleeves.

He then jumped up in the air, going right above Terra who was now on the ground, he extended his fists forward and the glove parts of the sleeves shot down in rocket punches. The fist charged straight down, aiming to slam down on her.

Once he shot the gloves out the rock around his arms crept down his arm and towards his hands again, forming new gloves. Once he landed on the ground he let the landing be less chaotic, causing only a few cracks and debris to spread.

The then put his arms up in a boxing like stance and faced Terra.

Terra simply shook her head as his attention seemed to be focused on the Avatar and Mattias. While he was looking she decided to go ahead and have a look as well. A bit of a smile emerged from her face, looks like she was right after all, they did know eachother. At first the girl seemed happy to seem him but then when Mattias looked at her her smile quickly turned into a scared and concerned face.

I wonder what he exactly told the Avatar...

She was so focused into her thoughts and concerns that when the rock fists were headed her way Terra barely dodged them with a simple technique of turning the circle slab she was on counter clockwise. This was starting to get boring to her, she loved fighting but this really did not have a purpose for her because the simple fact that this man had assumed she would be staying with the avatar during her journey.

Laughing a bit at Naraca's waiting stance she held her hand up smirking, "I don't have time for this to be honest, I have other duties to attend to." Terra walked up to him and twisted her foot quickly as a column of earth rose so she could look him eye to eye so only he could hear what she was about to say, "I'm going to teach you and her, I do not plan on staying with the Avatar during her journey, if she needs me then I will arrive at the designated place she is at. Otherwise you'll be her teacher, but for the more advanced things I will be her master."

Terra then slid off the column and looked at everyone, "There has been an emergency that I need to attend to! You all have seen what you've came for! So clear the arena!"

Once everyone cleared the arena except for Naraca and the group he was with Terra stood there looking at Naraca. "You have a lot of conflicting issues don't you?"
